It was not even close. Despite victories in Russia and Latin America, losses across the board in the other regions spelled doom for Ruri Gokou as she was sliced and diced by Kanade Tachibana, 7594-3438. The wife of Yuzuru Otonashi, Tachibana will take on either Taiga Aisaka or Eucliwood Hellscythe. Meanwhile, a number of classification matches took place.

Yuki Nagato stormed past Saber, 5741-4972, winning every region except Vietnam, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Azusa Nakano romped past Yuri Nakamura, 5953-4848. Despite victories in the U.S.A., the Middle East and South Asia, Korea and Vietname, heavy victories in the other regions proved to be too much for Nakamura to overcome.

Having stepped from her office at the leader of the free moe world, Mikoto Misaka bounced back with a 5938 electrocution of Yui, winning every region except Japan, Vietnam, Taiwan and Indonesia. And Mio Akiyama added to Shana's wounds, prevailing 5871-5031 thanks to big victories in Canada, the U.S.A, Europe, Africa, Russia, Australia, Papua New Guinea, the Middle East and South Asia, Korea, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Japan. Shana was particilarly strong in Malaysia, Latin American and Vietnam.

It seems that Haganai is not worth its weight in gold, as the gold standard for moe, Haruhi Suzumiya, won ever region except Africa, Thailand, Korea, Hong Kong and Japan in a 5995-4616 barbecue. However, Kobata Hasegawa pulled off a 5415-5081 upset of Kirino Kousaka, capping off a forgettable day for Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai. Hasegawa was particularly strong in Europe, Canada, Latin America, all of Southeast Asia, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

A close race between Ririchiyo Shirakiin and Karen Araragi saw the demon girl take the sting out of the bee, 5137-4982. Shirakiin was particularly strong in Malaysia and Taiwan, where she obliterated Karen. Ririchiyo also won the vote in Africa, Canada, China, the Middle East and South Asia and Hong Kong. Karen's biggest victories came in the U.S.A., Russia and Eastern Europe.

Karen's sister, Tsukihi, fared much better, winning a 5,168-5080 thriller over Mei Misaki. Misaki's strongest victories came in Africa, the Philippines, the Middle East and South Asia, Russia, Malaysia and Indonesia. However, the Phoenix rose in the Americas, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Papua New Guineas, Thailand, Korea and Japan.

Finally, Nanami Nishijou prevailed over Kuu Shiratori 4227-3726. Nishijou won every region except the Middle East and South Asia, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Korea, where Shiratori won handily.
